E-Learning

E-Learning

Digital technology and applications are fast becoming pervasive. Helplife recognizes the potential of digital, especially in areas of health and education, and is currently developing a program of work that specifically addresses this opportunity.
Whilst developing our broader approach and strategy for digital health and e-learning, we have led strong foundational programs that leverage technology. Through our partnership with Bajaj Auto, we have developed a comprehensive resource center on disability. Our work has delivered a digital app, that integrates all the support organisations for disability under one roof, addressing the needs of disabled people and communities, with physical, mental, visual, hearing and other forms of disability. The app is further reinforced by a disabled contact center or “Helpline” that will provide essential support for those who call-in seeking advice or information.
We are also looking to develop an online community where differently-abled girls and young women can join forces to create new initiatives for better sustainable living.

Online discussions and events are supplemented by in-person events to champion change and drive awareness across our selected development goals. Further, the platform will provide opportunities in sought after areas such as business ventures, micro-financing, creating self-help groups, mentorship programs, health and health insurance and future programming in disability and development
